Manufacturing Process of Magnetic Rods

The manufacturing process of magnetic rods involves precision and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality and performance. Here is an outline of the typical production flow:

SS Tube Cutting

The process begins with the cutting of the stainless steel tube to the required length, ensuring a perfect fit for the magnets.

SS Tube Polishing

Once cut, the stainless steel tubes undergo a thorough polishing process to achieve a smooth surface, which is essential for the next steps.

Magnets Assembling

High-powered magnets are carefully assembled within the stainless steel tube. The precision of this step is crucial for the final magnetic field distribution.

Endplug Welding

After the magnets are in place, end plugs are welded onto each end of the tube to encase the magnets, preventing any movement.

Endplugs Rough Polishing

The welded end plugs receive a rough polishing to remove any excess material and prepare the surface for finer work.

Endplugs Fine Polishing

A second, finer polishing gives the end plugs a smooth finish, ensuring there are no imperfections that could affect the magnetic rod’s performance.

Bar Fine Polishing

The entire bar, now assembled and welded, is finely polished. This not only improves aesthetics but also removes any microscopic irregularities.

Inspecting Sand Holes

A meticulous inspection follows, looking for any sand holes or imperfections that could have arisen during welding or polishing.

Repolishing

If any imperfections are found, the affected area is repolished until the desired quality is achieved.

Surface Gauss Measurement

The magnetic strength of the rod is measured to ensure it meets the required specifications.

Packaging

Finally, the magnetic rods are carefully packed and prepared for delivery to the client.

Shipment

After the magnets are in place, end plugs are welded onto each end of the tube to encase the magnets, preventing any movement.
